I was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada where I lived for 24 years.  

I lived and went to college for several years in Winnipeg, Manitoba. 

For over 20 years, I have lived in the UK and have adapted to life in a new country.  

I have lived and worked with people who have physical disabilities and who are on the autistic spectrum. 

I am a registered MBACP.
With a Masters in Counselling Studies.

I am a person-centred counsellor based in Capel le Ferne, Folkestone, Kent.
I gained a BA HONS degree from the Open University.
I graduated with a MA in Counselling Studies degree from Nottingham University (2009).
I have more than 5 years experience as a volunteer counsellor and supervisor for CRUSE Bereavement Care and have also worked for several years as a volunteer for Victim Support.
I have experience of working with both short term and long term clients.
I am a registered member of the BACP and follow their ethical values and principles as set out in the BACP's Ethical Framework Guide for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
